YOUR NEIGHBORHOOD BARBERS SINCE  1962

Henry Clark established Clark's Barbershop in 1962. During that time, aside from being known for being the best neighborhood barbershop with good service and affordable prices; it was also know as the mecca for the best checker  players in town. Not only would people come to get a quality cut but they would sit around for hours, play checkers and fellowship any day of the week. Henry lived and breathed his barbershop and it was always more than just a job for him. He would walk  to and from work and made sure the shop operated like clockwork each day. Coincidentally, he spent the last day of his life walking to this very barbershop 2000.

The History

After the untimely death of his father, Vincent Clark felt compelled now more than ever to follow in his footsteps. Since 1981 he'd worked alongside his father at Clark's day in and day out, so the barbershop was just as much his as it was his fathers.

The barbershop had always been the family business. Chris Clark, Vincent's youngest son, grew up in the barbershop. He observed his father and grandfather and learned early on the value of hard work and how to run a business. As soon as he was old enough he was determine  to learn everything there was to know about cutting hair and running a successful and lasting business. He knew that keeping the legacy alive would one day be his responsibility and wanted nothing more than to make the man who started it all very proud.
